Meet Dr. Fariba Pfitzner, M.D.

Dr. Fariba Pfitzner is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She is dedicated to helping children, teens, young adults, and families navigate emotional, behavioral, developmental, and mental health challenges through compassionate, personalized care.

Dr. Pfitzner earned her medical degree from Ludwig-Maximilian University School of Medicine in Munich, Germany. She completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, where she also served as Chief Resident.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Pfitzner served as Director of the Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Arizona State Hospital and spent more than 20 years working in community mental health clinics throughout the Phoenix area.

Today, her practice focuses on helping children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, mood regulation difficulties, learning concerns, and school performance issues.

Her holistic and family-centered approach emphasizes understanding the whole person while creating individualized treatment plans that support long-term emotional wellness and healthy development.
