Dr. Fariba Pfitzner is a board-certified Psychiatrist, specializing in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry.

 

She obtained an M.D. from Ludwig-Maximillian University, School of Medicine in Munich, Germany and completed her Residency in Psychiatry at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine. She also did a two-year fellowship program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and served as chief resident for one year in Rochester. Dr. Fariba Pfitzner is licensed to practice medicine in Arizona, New York, and the European Union. 

 

Before entering private practice, Dr. Pfitzner worked as the Director of Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Arizona State Hospital, and served for 20 years at community mental health clinics throughout the Phoenix area.

In her private practice, she provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, pharmacological treatment,  and psychiatric education, in addition to providing individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, and adults.
